Shift Report

After a shift is closed, cash operations performed during the shift can be reported in the Shift Report. Data included in the Shift Report includes:

  • opening and closing times
  • opening and closing amounts
  • cashier names
  • sale categories (cash, card or coupon)
  • net amount
  • gross amount per sale (for purchases and returns)
  • tax charged

The Shift identifier and Cash Register identifier are both required.

Note

A Shift Report is also known as a Z-Report.

The Sample Code

On both platforms, the cashShift has all of the information needed to create the Shift Report.

Caution

On both platforms, a shift must first be closed before you can generate a shift report.
